Exterior Works and Site Access
Managing access to sloped sites requires a structural approach to exterior landscaping. For the Michael Chan property, we were engaged to execute the structural building elements of an exterior staircase. The goal was to provide safe and stable access down a sloped garden bank. We handled the timber boxing and the core structural formation, leaving the soft landscaping and planting to be completed independently.
Staircase Construction and Tiling
Our team constructed precise timber formwork to define the staircase run and control the slope gradient. Once the structural base was set, we finished the steps with light-coloured stone-look tiles. This provided a clean hardwearing surface that contrasts sharply with the dark garden soil and surrounding black fencing.
