Interior Demolition and Structural Reconfiguration
High-value residential renovations demand a clean slate to ensure modern structural integrity. For the Yattendon project, we executed a full interior strip-out across the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen areas. Our team removed all existing plasterboard to expose the original timber framing. This allowed us to assess the house’s bones and carry out targeted structural modifications. We installed new pink treated timber to reconfigure the internal layout and strengthen specific load-bearing sections before moving to the fit-out stage.
Service Integration and Modernisation
Exposing the framing allowed our team to easily update the property’s core services. We managed the installation of modern plumbing lines and electrical wiring through the ceiling and wall cavities. We also fitted thick thermal insulation batts between the ceiling joists to significantly improve the home’s energy efficiency. This thorough preparation ensures the final finishes will sit on a secure, modernised framework.
